Scouts Chosen For Order of Arrow Local News POLIO PRECAUTIONS The activities of the Scouts at Cam p McLoughlin were highlight­ ed by Bobby Dimmick and Dick Fadling being chosen for m em ber­ ship in the O rder of the Arrow. The purpose of the O rder of the Arrow is to recognize Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout oath and law in their daily lives, and by such recognition cause o th er cam pers to conduct them selves in such a m anner as crystalize the Scout habit of help- to w a rra n t recognition, and to fulness into a life purpose of leadership in unselfish service to others. I t is believed th at these two boys are the first from Brookings to be so honored, and we hope to add to this m embership other boys from the Scout troops in this comm unity.
