4-H Program

was held at the meeting held July
17. ( arol Rausch, who won one
of the Grange scholarships, gave a
report of the summer school ses­
sion at Corvallis, and thanked the
Grange for the opportunity of a t­
tending the school.

It was announced that the first
August meeting would he men’s
night, and the men have promised
that it w ill be a knock-out and
well worth attending.
Following the meeting, a social
hour was enjoyed, with refresh­
ments of ice cream and cake
served.

Auto Accident
Mrs. Donald Johnson of Harbor
was slightly injured in an auto­
mobile accident between Harbor
and Brookings last Wednesday.
Her 14 month old daughter. Con­
nie, who was with her received
only scratches.
Mrs. Johnson was en route to
Brookings to pick up her husband
when the accident occurred.
Blinded by approaching lights,
Mrs. Johnson lost control of the
car. which went into the ditch
