Thanks to the untiring efforts
of George Funk, president of tne
All-Year Events Association. the
cooperation of the State Parks
department and assistance of
Brookings Plywood Corporation,
who donated the use of its equip
ment and men, and South Lum
ber Company, who donated ma
terial for the permanent cover of
the pit. Rocks were hauled from
Bruce Hole, by volunteer labor,
for lining the pit and the entire
project was under the very cap
able supervision of Vic Reynolds
who will do the barbequeing of
the meat for the festival.
This is a big job well done.
Next year’s officers for the All-
Year Events Association will have
a much more simple chore in
putting on the barbeque.
The wood for the fire is all
cut and hauled Thanks to Jerry
Schroeder and Morris brothers.
The Azaleas in the park «ire
more beautiful each day All we
need for the Festival weekend
is SUNSHINE!
