Mr. and Mrs. Dean Chambers
and their three children returned
to their home in Portland the
middle of last week after enjoy­
ing a several day visit here with
Mr. Chamber’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Chambers.
Pvt. Vernon Crockett spent the
weekend at the home of his par­
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Crock­
ett, returning on Sunday to
Camp Roberts, California where
he is with the Military Police
Division.
Mrs. Dorothy Cate and three
children accompanied by her sis­
ter-in-law, Mrs. Frances Payne,
spent Sunday visiting in Cave
Junction at the home of Mr. and
Mrs Ed Wilbur.

Dr. and Mrs. Glen Moore left
last week on an extended trip
which will take them to Daven­
port, Iowa, where they will visit
their son, Joe, who is a student
at the Palmer School of Chiro-
practics. During their absence,
their house will be occupied by
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hooker.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bassler of
Tracy, California, were the house
•guests of Mrs. Tracy’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Hall for a
few days last week.
It is with pleasure that it can
be reported that the young son
of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Hopper
who was injured several weeks
ago, is now home from the hos­
pital, and is reeo'eiing nicely
from the head injuries he suffer­
ed.
