Along Azalea Row
By Mrs. E. F. Raprnefjer
One day, a happy-go-lucky
neighbor of ours bumped into a
door in the dark and blackened
his eye.
“I am glad,” he said, “that I
bumped my eye. People whom I
scarcely know greet me with in-
te rts t and smile when they pass
me. My black eye has provided
wholesome pleasure to my many
friends, and I am grateful for the
privilege of causing their hearts
to expand in comradeship .Every
one is jovial and it seems just like
C hristm as.”
Now you know as well as I do
th at the comradeship arising from
a blackened eye borders on the
hum orous and isn’t of the same
fine quality as the fellowship
Even Fido has
not been forgot-
ten in our holi
day greeting.
Merry Christmas
to Everyone!
