The dance sponsored by the
j 1 Rebekah Lodge on Saturday. Oct
18th. at the Grange Hall was a
definite success and $400.00 clear
was realized, toward the rebuild
ing of the Frank Hassett home
which was partlcally destroyed by
I fire recently. The use of the hall
¡was donated by the Grange, music
was furnished gratis and many
cakes were given to help swell
the fund.
This fund will purchase ma
terials for building and labor will
be donated by’ friends and neigh
bors. About ten men labored all
day Sunday and were given a pot
luck dinner at noon by the Re
bekahs at the home of George
Hassett nearby. Work is being
speeded to get a roof finished and
water tight before expected rains
arrive. The Rebekahs are grateful
to everyone who helped to make
this project possible.
