ond. Miss L audauer’s essay has
been sent to be judged in the
s ta te finals, with the sta te w in
n e r to com pete in the nationals.
Mrs. B ernadine Steele was in
charge of the contest and at the
m eeting of the Auxiliary l a s t
W ednesday, she presented a $5
check to Miss L andauer and $2.50
‘ check to Miss Pickens, prizes from

Gold Beach, hopes to have a com
plete election re tu rn in the next
issue of the Pilot. The Pilot will
seek the count from both the
local precincts for phoning to
Gold Beach, and in re tu rn get
the retu rn s from there.
