    Bank Sets Opening
For Next Saturday
Gregor. S ta te Bank w ill, offici­
ally open its doors for business to
the banking p u b l i c S atu rd ay
m orning, May 10, at 10 o’clock.
This will m ake quite an event
in the history of Brookings as the
city has been w ithout banking
facilities snce 1934.
R egular banking hours will be:
10 a. m. to 3 p. m. daily, w ith ex­
ception of S atu rd ay s when the
bank will be open until noon.
However, for the convenience
of the banking public on its open­
ing day, the bank has arran g ed to
rem ain open until 5:00 p. m. th a t
p a rticu la r day.
The F ederal Depositl Insurance
C orporation h a s approved the
bank for insurance under its su p ­
ervision w herein each com m erci­
al and each saving account will
be insured up to the m axim um
am ount of $10,000.
The board of directors, as re ­
cently elected by the stockhold­
ers, consist of F ra n k E. Langer,
W. L. Crissey, Edwin Sund, Rob­
e rt O. Dimmick, Wilson Freem an,
A. R. B ergm an and E. L. Morton.
