highw ay p ro p e rty w ould not be
desirable as residence, th e classi-
vcation it now is being labeled.
N ext T uesday, a t the eighth-
g rade room, a public hearin g will
be held on th e zoning plan, and
anyone who has objections to air,
a re asked and urg ed to be p res­
ent. It w as pointed out th a t no
previous in te re st had been shown
in the zoning, an d but few had
atten d ed any of th e m eetings as
advertised.

W. L. C rissey gave th e old fire-
dam aged cabin across th e road
from his hom e as a “g u in ea pig”
and the equipm ent com pany set
th e old s tru c tu re ablaze. P ro p e r­
ly d em o n strated , it w as presum ed
out, w hen the blaze w as quelled.
All w ent home, n a tu ra lly th in k ­
ing w h at good equipm ent it was.
About six the next m orning, the
old fram e cau g h t fire and was
co m pletely destroyed, scarin g the
neighborhood out of its wits.
