Pacific Bulb Growers Maintain Prices
For 'Bulbs' At Local Meet, Tues. Eve.
Lily Grower Really
Exploded To Pilot
Says on of the area's citizens:
"I am leaving the country, going
back to my old trade.”
“Now, w hat is the m atter, in
quired a friend.
I am ju st so d— tired of
working seven days a week, ten
to 12 hours per day, then at har-
\e s t time to go through w ith the
m ental and nervous strain all
those d— jobbers put us through,
then finally have to let the devils
have my bulbs for a little of
nothing.”
A good crowd and harmony was shown at the annual
meeting of the Pacific Bulb Growers Association, at the
Ghetto (.range hall, I'uesday evening, despite the real
stormy weather outside. Several came here from as far
away as Portland.
