Man Killed in Saumiill
J e rry Boyer, 34, of th is place,
was instantly killed about 9:30
Friday morning when he was
crowded by a log and fell into
the saw at Crawford Mill, on the
highway here.
Boyer had been working at the
mill about three weeks. He for
merly was truck driver for En-
dert Bottling Works, Crescent
City, He is survived by his wi
dow, Jean Lockwood Boyers and
two children, David. 10 and She
lia; a brother, James of Salinas,
and his parents.
Funeral services were held at
at 2 p. m. from Wler’s chapel, at
Crescent City with Father Tlioj.

The sub-district meeting of the I
WSCS of the Methodist church
was held at the local church on

from Fortuna, Eureka, Klamath,
Crescent City, Gushchu, and the
