The president of our Garden
Club suggested it might be in
teresting to the newcomers of
this area to hear in part what
Azalea Garden Club has accom
plished in the few years since it
was organized in January, 1915.
Twenty interested persons were

discussed and carried out such as

tory gardens, 4-H scholarships,
bird houses for juveniles; also
helping with community proj-

too numerous to mention.
These an* just a few to let th'*
newcomers know that we arc not
just a play and dress-up club,
but really love our gardens and

garden club members made a
trip to Ashland to the district
meeting at the home of Mrs. E.
W. Jermark. Mrs. Jermark is
vice director of the Siskiyou dis-
trict, and gave us a short res
