Betti Allynne, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Claude Goldizen, grad I
of the class of ’49, at Brookings’
High, was one of the candidates
receiving the degree of Associate
in Arts at Ventura Junior Col- ■
lege, June 14.
Miss Goldizcn was a member*
of the college A Cappella choir,!
which was received with much
acclaim in all its public appear­
ances. She will be remembered
locally as soloists in Azalea Fes­
tival ceremonies, Queens Ball and
banquet entertainment.
For four years prior to her
entering college she was soloist
at Baptist Community church.
Having majored in business
technique, and administration,
she is now employed by the gov­
ernment as private secretary to
the traffic manager of the Port
of Hueneme naval base, near
Oxnard. Calif.
