A picnic is planned for Thurs­
day afternoon, with each child
bringing a sack lunch.
In comparison to all previous
years, the 1951 school exceeded
others with an enrollment of al­
most 100 with an average daily
attendance of more than 75.
Teachers helping with

school included: Mrs. Ray Olson,
Mrs. M. C. Beem, Juanita James,
Mrs. A. P. Hendricks, Mrs. Wea-
ver, Mrs. Sandeis, Virginia Ak-
ers, Arline Sanders, Mrs. Britt-
son, Mrs. Henry Kerr, Mrs. Bert 1
DeMoss, Pauline Hendricks, as
secretary, and Miss Velma Rich-
ardson as director.
Mrs. A. F. Pierce, the Sunday
school superintendent, made all

arrangements.

A reception followed the serv-
ices with over 150 of the wed-
ding guests in attendance, The
bride and groom cut the cake
with the traditional silver sabre.
Mrs. Edwin Macwilliams of Cor­
vallis and Mrs. Fairman B. Lee
of Burton, Wash., poured. Fra-
ternity brothers of the groom
assisted with the serving. Lester
Gardner was in charge of the
guest book.
For her going away ensemble,
the bride selected a spring suit
of navy blue and white check
with red accessories. The couple

trip to southern California and
will be at home at San Diego
after the first of July.
