Eight 4-H Clubs
Function In Area
Eight 4-H clubs are now reg
ularly meeting in this area and
that of the Winchuck.
The first saddle horse club to
be organized in the county has
eight members, led by Rev. J.
L. Mumbower.
Miss Mary Pyrates is leading
a club of seventh grade girls in
Clothing 2 project.
Mrs. Joe Zumpfe and Elaine
LeClaire are leading cooking
clubs.
The Winchuck Livestock club
has been re-organized with the
majority of its members taking
sheep projects.
The Hatful of Health Club and
Healthy Crabs club are being led
at school by Mrs. Frances Henry
fend Ws. Lynn Hampton, re
spectively.
Fourteen members of the up
per Chetco Health Club have
been meeting with their leader,
Mrs. Esther Waldien, since early
October.
4-H club leaders are still being
needed and any one interested
is urged to contact the county
extension office.
