THURSDAY. DECEMBER 21. 1950 BROOKINGS-HARBOR PILOT, BROOKINGS, OREGON Land Of Opportunities Page Five Universal Christmas Would Insure World Unity and Peace! That Is, If We Observed It 365 Times a Year! The "Spirit Of Christmas," one of love, sacrifce and giving, follows the teaching of "The King of Hosts," Jesus Christ, who gave us a way of life. Were we to practice this way of life universally there would be no world incidents such as wars, disputes between nations or among people. Can we hope, right here in our own commun ity, to inaugurate this plan and practice it for the next 365 days, and observe its effect upon our state, nation, and eventually the world? We would like to make this pledge with every one else, to make this attempt—will you? PHILLIP'S CLOTHING COFFEE MILL CAFE NOOK CAFE AND TAVERN BROOKINGS GARAGE PETE J. LESMEISTER AGENCY E. E.
