BROOKTNGS-HARBOR PILOT. BROOKINGS, OREGON
"JUNE-IN-DECEMBER" SEEN HERE
All over the nation, with snow-storms, blizzards, and sub-
temperatures reported almost everywhere, except here, this
area basks in the balmwy weather which forces daffodils to
break forth in the summer time splendor.
Earl Monday, George Titus came to the Pilot office almost
breathless to tell about having two “Magnificent” daffodils
in full bloom in his yard that morning. He expects more, too.
If this area has the advert Using funds behind it that Los
Angeles speand every year, every national magazine might
have a full-page, color advertisement heralding the fact.
