"Probation after Death” is the
subject of the Lesson-Sermon in
all Churches of Christ, Scientist,
on Sunday, October 22.
The Golden Text is "Blessed
is the man that endureth temp
tation: for when he is tried, he

Among citations which com-
prise the Lesson-Sermon is the
following from the Bible: "Yea,
though 1 walk through the val-
ley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for thou are with
me; thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me” (Ps. 24:3), togeth
er with the following correlative
passage from the' Christian Sci
ence textbook, "Science and
Health With Key to the Scrip-
tures” by Mary Baker Eddy :
•‘Death will be found at length
to be a mortal dream, which
comes in darkness and disap-
