Pictured above is a one-bedroom home, made entirely from red
wood, complete except for furnishings, which will be viewed next
Sunday, at the Fielding Ranch, across the road from Valley View
cabins, one mile west of Smith River.
This new type home, designed to bring housing within reach of
the small wage-earner as well as the higher brackets, may be ‘’tail
ored” to fit the particular needs. Any basic unit is so designed that
additional rooms may be built at any time without changing the
style of the house materially.
There are many options on interior finish. It may be left with
the beautiful redwood, or may be covered with sheet-rock, papered,
calsomined, or plastered. To tell too much would take away from
the anticipation of visiting it at Open House, Sunday, August 20.
The building of this home is result of many years experience
on part of Roy Davis, one of Nie owners of the company, who has
had 32 years construction experience. H. A. Sanders is business man
ager, who says the coast area will be served as rapidly as possible.
As these houses are pre-cut, the buyer may erect them according
to a layout furnished with the material. If the buyer wishes them
erected, a crew will be furnished, and the house will be ready for
occupancy within ten days from date of delivery on the grounds.
Designed so that there is no lost or wasted space, these houses
are as compact, yet roomy, as any trailer you may study for com
parison. The kitchen is designed along the pattern of a railway din
ing car. The bathroom is as ample as many found in the most ex
pensive homes. Everything is so designed that the buyer may make
the home fit his pocketbook exactly. You are invited to the open
house, next Junday. It is on Hwy 101, 1 mile west of Smith River,
across the road from Valley View Court, on the fielding ranch.
COFFEE WILL BE SERVED TO EVERYONE, SUNDAY!
