    Couple Married At
Port Orford, Sat.
PORT ORFORD An import­
ant even of the week-end was the
wedding of Miss Lou Ellon Flake,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Odell
Flake, to William Crumrine, U.
S. Coast Guard, son of Mr. ° nd
Mrs. A. Crumrine of Newberg,
at St. Christopher’s Episcopal
chapel, 8:00 p. m., Saturday. The
rites were performed by Bishop
Jenkins.
The bride wore a gown of
white slipper satin and a finger­
tip veil held in place with a halo
of seed pearls. Mat i on of honor,
Mrs. Evelyn Crumrine, sister-in-
law of the groom, wore rose-col­
ored taffeta while the bridesmaids
Miss Joan Studley and Miss Shir­
ley Olson, wore aqua taffeta.
Miss Christine Cooley was the
flower girl and Miss Rebecca Coo-
ley ring bearer. Ushers were Mel-
vin Crumrine, cousin of groom,
and Jerry Studley.
A reception was held at the
Parish hall. Out-of-town guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Jack I la risen
of Coos Bay and Mr. and Mrs.
L. V. Barnet of Coquille.
Following the reception the
couple left immediately for their
home at Newport, where the
groom is stationed.
