Harbor area long have needed a
scout building, and long have
talked the proposition, but until
just recently nothing tangible
has ever been done to realize
this goal.
With all branches of Scouting
co-operating, with several organ
izations stepping in to aid in all
ways possible, a scout show has
b e e n planned for Wednesday
evening. June 7, at the Pine Cone
theatre, when, it is hoped, much
of the needed funds will be real
ized for the building.
In addition to the movie, "In
truders in the Dust," starring
Claude Jarman Jr., local talent
will be added to spread the show’
to three hours of entertainment.
Elsewhere in this issue ap-
pears an advertisement telling
of the program for the evening,
'rickets are on sale by the scouts
and it you haven’t already been
approached, you will be before
the evening of the show’.
