For Playground
A “Jungle Jim,” a special type
of playground equipment for the
youngsters of the primary grades
of the local school, has been un­
loaded at the school grounds, to
be erected soon. This was a gift
from Brookings Rotary Club, a
beginning of the club’s proposed
program for adding equipment
to the playground as rapidly as
the club can finance the project.
It is the plan of the club to
build a couple of tennis courts
early next year, on the corner
of the athletic field, near the
high school building.
With the Azalea Garden Club
working on the landscaping of
the entire grounds, and vbh an
