GUARANTEED AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRING
At a special student body elec
tion, held Tuesday morning, Oct.
11, Larry Beaumont was named1
vice-president of Brookings High
School. Larry is a new student,
coming here from Silverton, Ore.
At the same election Helen Swear
ingen was chosen annual editor,
and Margaret Byrne as school
newspaper editor.
The clinic held by the state
department of education was a
success, with some 60 children
visiting the five specialists at
some time during the day. The
specialists represented the fields
of vision, hearing, speech, emo
tional adjustment and chronically
ill. Thirteen high school girls act
ed as pages and teachers during
the clinic so that the regular ele
mentary teachers might confer
with the specialists. Cost of the
clinic is entirely financed by the
Oregon State Department of Ed
ucation.
