Pelicans “Prepare” For Crescent City Merchants
Pelicans Smother Gold Beach, 14 To 3,
At H. S. Field, For Third Time This Year
Following their third impressive win from Gold Beach Sunday
afternoon, 14 to 3, Brookings Pelicans now are directing their at
tention to the forthcoming two-best-out-of three series against the
Crescent City Merchants. The first game will be played on the
local diamond, next Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
With Rogue River forfeiting her game for Sunday, arrangements
were made with Gold Beach for a third game to keep the local
