to be the early bird that gets the worm, many motor vehicle owners

Planning for 50 on the opening
day of Vacation Bible School, Rev.
Nick Neufeld came to the Pilot
office where he made up and
bound 50 notebooks. Saturday. On
Monday, after the initial session,
he returned to the Pilot office, to
make up 15 more.
A concrete retaining wall /was
installed late last week by Dris
kell Motel, next to the Templar
hotel building, adding much to
the general appearance of the mo-
te1 nroperty.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Garabedian
and son of Fresno, are guests of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete
J. Lesmeister.

Lynn Hampton returned late
last week from Eugene, where he
spent several days on school bus

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kubat,
and Mr. and Mrs. L. Z. Harbin
motored to Lakeview last week
end. The Hubats visited his
brother, and the Harbins visited
their son-in-law and daughter, at
the Weyerhauser camp.
Mrs. L. Z. Harbin had as her
guest last week, Mrs. Claire Sieg-
ly of Portland, secretary of the
Oregon Cancer Society. Impress
ed by this area, Mrs. Siegly was
sorry her visit had to be so brief.
Several army lockers from an
army camp were • brought to this
area by Elmer Bankus, Henry
Kerr and Brimm Bros, for use at1
their places of business. These
will be used as tool and equip-
ment storages.
