out with him.” Revelation 12:7-9.
For six thousand years the
earth has been the battle ground
upon which has waged the con
flict that Lucifer has started in
heaven. The conclusive battle
draws on apace and sin shall not
rise up the second time. Nahum
1:9.
We have not exceeded the au
thority of the Bible in this mys
terious and strange narrative.
Godliness is a mystery, so, also
is sin. We cannot explain either,
but we can recite what the Bible
has to say about both. At a later
time we hope to tell you about
the final battle.

There are three personalities,
yes four, portrayed in the Holy
Scriptures, who, in their respec-
tive spheres are responsible for
everything that has been, every
thing that is and everything that
shall be. Three of these persons
are co-existent a n d belong t o
eternity.
.They are the Eat her, the Son
and the Holy Spirit, “For these
are three that bear record in
heaven, the Father, the Word,
(Christ । and ths i loly Ghost : and
these three are one.” John 5:7.
From everlasting to everlast
ing, from eternity to eternity the
well-being of everything in the
universe is guarded and perpet
uated by this self-existent Tri-
umvirate, know' to is at the God
head. Herein is found all the
treasures of wisdom and knowl-
edge. Colossians 2:3.
Somewhere in the past et er-
nity it pleased God the Father
to confer upon the Son (Jesus
Christ) all the treasures of wis
dom and knowledge, that in him
(Christ) might dwell all the ful
ness of the Godhead bodily. See
Colossians 2:9; 1:19..
Thus we see that in Jesus
Christ is contained all the treas-
tires of the Godhead, Therefore
it is Jesus Christ that
all (created) things and by whom
all (created) things consist. See

he was created, till iniquity was
found in him. Read Ezekiel 28:
12-19. This being is designated
in the Scriptures by many meta-
phors, the ones by which he is
best known being, Lucifer, Satan,
Devil. He was first in authority
among the angels, who were all
created beings. Great honors
were conferred upon him by the
Holy Trinity, and he was trusted
with many important missions
extending throughout the uni-
While Lucifer was held in high
esteem in the heavenly courts
he did not possess the authority,
nor the power that had been com
missioned upon the Son. He could
attend the Son at the creation of
a planet or a system, but he did
not possess the power to create.
Why could he not be given the
power to create? Why should the
Son be held in higher esteem
than he, Lucifer, the highest of
all angels?
Lucifer grew to covet the pow-
ers held by the Son. Plans began
to take shape in his mind by
which hi' believed he might pos
sess these coveted powers. This
spirit ripened into open revolt
against the Holy Trinity, partic
ularly against the Son. Ho prom
ulgated his rebellious purposes
among the angels, large numbers
of whom were persuaded to join
him in his plan to possess the
throne of the Eternal One, strip
the Son of his authority and pow
er and possess them for himself.
So he said in his heart and pro
claimed to his angels folloing:
