A. MacKenzie called it
to my attention, Monday, that
people should feed the birds dur­
ing this stormy weather, and gave
good reasons for making the re­
quest that I urge people to do
this thing. She said that in her
own neighborhood birds were so
weak from starvation that they
were easy prey for cats.
I know that the birds have been
regular yes. constant visitors
in my men yard. My children are
griot lovers or birds, and en­
joy feeding them. Monday they
put out four pieces of bread, all
toasted, and in a few minutes
no signs were to be found of the

can make quick work of a piece
