local church Tuesday evening the
young people gathered at the par
sonage for a social time, honor
ing Miss Bettie Moore, bride
elect of Evo Mello Jr., the mar
riage to take place Sunday eve
ning at the local church.
The group presented Miss
Moore with a lovely blanket, and
a card extending congratulations.
At the close of the social time,
cake, jello and punch were serv
ed, to conclude the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen of
Santa Fe, New Mexico, who
spent several weeks visiting rel
atives and friends, have left for
their home.
Gale and Wayne Reichlin, sons
of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reichlin, are
confined to their home with at
tacks of measles.
