"M ortals and Im m ortals” is
the subject of the Lesson-Ser
mon in all churches of Christ-
Scientist. on Sunday. May 16.
The Golden Text is “As we
have borne the image of the
earthy, we shall also bear the
image of the heavenly” <1 Cor-i
inthians 15:49).
Among the citations which
comprise the Lesson-Sermon is
the following from the Bible:
“Lord, thou hast been our dwell
ing place in all generations” <Ps.
90:1), together with the follow
ing correlative passage from the
Christian Science textbook, “Sci
ence and H ealth with Key to the
Scriptures,” by M ary B aker Ed
dy: “Man is deathless, spiritual,
lie is above sin or frailty. He
does not cross the harriers of
time into the vast forever of Life
but he coexists with God and the
universe" (p. 266).

The Sunday school and the
church are growing by leaps and
bounds. Again we urge the peo
ple to come and bring their chil
dren and young people to our
Sunday school. The pupils are
taught from a non-sectarian
view. The Bible is the only book
taught. There is no other founda
tion that can be laid in childhood
than the sure foundation that
we find in the Bible. The hour
is 9:45.
The morning service will be
conducted a t 11:00 a m. The sub
