    INDUSTRY!
Today wo are embarking upon a new year, a year
filled with promise of greater things—of greater
hopes. The year, 1948, for this area is far removed
from the hectic year of 1947, when our mistakes have
brought us to the realization that only through a
this year for production that exceeded the war effort.
We, the business and professional men of this area,
wish to lie identfied with this nation wide plan. We
pledge our earnest efforts to meet the greater de
mands—we will give a little more of ourselves to that
united effort we will advance.
The coming of 1948 will see expanded effort on the
part of all industry to meet the demands made upon
it for goods so vital in the economy of the world, not
to mention the people of this great nation of ours.
Industry of these United States will be called upon
cause of humanity.
We wish, also at this time to thank everyone for
the patdonage and associations of the past year. They
have been delightful, but our hope is that the com
ing year will see all of us in sloser harmony and unity
of purpose and effort.
