During the unusual rain over
the week-end, t h e temporary
¡crossing at Jack’s Creek, put up
by the county road crew while
building a new bridge, was wash-
'ed out. Repairs were mad»' o n 1
'Monday so that traffic was re
sumed to that area. The old
bridge has been torn out, and
the new bridge is under con-
strution.
Miss Helen Payne returned to
Ashland last week where she is
attending th second six weeks
of summer school at Southern
Oregon College o f Education.
She plans to continue her higher
education at this institution this
fall and winter.
