Grange Obligates
Four At Meeting
Second May meeting of Chetco
Grange was held Friday evening,
when Mr. and Mrs. Homer Kess
ler and L. E. Redflefild Sr. were
obligated. As J. C. Daggers, mas-
ti r. said he could not attend the
state convention at Bend in June,
it was voted that Benjamin Jones,
overseer, would represent the
Grange as alternate.
The lecturer. Viva Johnson, pre
sented an interesting program of
songs, readings, and a skit by Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Sandbo. The
lecture hour at the first meet
ing in June will be under lead
ership of the chaplain, Bertha
Moore, and will be the annual
memorial ceremony.
A social hour, with refresh
ments of apple pie and ice cream,
served by Mr. and Mrs. George
Hiland, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zumpfe
