age, the following recipe of Mi's.
Mildred Byrne, is especially ap­
propriate at this time:
MACARONI LOAF
I cup raw macaroni (boil it)
Soak 1 cup bread crumbs in 1
cup top milk or cream.
1 cup grated cheese
2 pimentoies (cut up)
cup melted butter
3 eggs, beaten lightly.
Parsley or chives (chopped)
»2 teaspoon salt
Mix together and bake in loaf
pan. Place the pan in another pan
of water. Bake one hour at 375
degrees. Serve this topped with
creamed chicken, tuna, ham. etc.
