No. 138, American Legion and
Auxiliary, it was announced

bott, Braden and Sunderland.
With the entire public in­
vited at IQ a. m., basket lunch
will be served at one o’clock,
after which a program of
races, with appropriate prizes
will be held. Featuring the
program will be a flag-raising
ceremony by the Boy Scouts.
Each family is asked to
bring a basket lunch, with
free coffee and lemonade be­
ing furnished by the Legion.
All the different organizations
of the town and area are in­
vited to come.
PROGRAM
Races will start at 10 a. m.
and are:
Sack Race: Children under 12
years (boys and girls); girls
from 12 to 16; and boys from
12 to 16.
Crab Race: Children under
12 (boys and girls); Girls, 12
to 16; and boys 12 to 16.
Candle Race (relay): women
versus men.
Three-legged race: Children
under 12 (boys and girls);
Girls from 12 to 16; boys, 12
to 16 and adults.
Post Toasties Race: open to
everyone.
Suit Case Race: women ver­
sus men.
Tug-o-war: World war 1 vets
versus world war 2 vets.
Obstacles race: open to all.
1:00 p. m.—lunch, followed
