A letter
Members of Coos Electric Co-op:
He are indeed sorry we have been unable to
ha\e more than just gotten under construction.
It was our plan not to only have started, but com
pleted all construction necessary in this com
munity in the first six months we were in oper
ation here.
The delay has been a combination o f several
things: primary of which is materials. All our
materials have been ordered many months -
some were received in just few months follow
ing placement of orders. On some, we were told
that the orders would be filled, shipped and re
ceived in 6(1 to 90 days. We have since been told
on these same orders that shipment will be in
definite, due to strikes. Since then, future dates
have been quoted to us.
We have started a new phase of construction,
and we hope articles needed will come so that we
may continue working until the job is complete.
