campaign. He is opposed in the
prim aries by Mrs. Cutlip of N orth
Bend.
Mrs. J. E. Stevenson left Mon­
day for Oakland, Calif., where
she will visit her son, Lt. C. B.
Newton, of the naval medical
corps, who is presently stationed
at the Oakland N aval Hospital.
She plans to retu rn to Brookings
Friday.
