eral years, and have been active
in restaurant work during most
of that time, have sold their res­
taurant, the Nook Cafe, to Jas.
Murphy and Bob Dorus.
Mr. and Mrs. Page will move
to Texas to make their home, due
to their health.
The new owners will remodel
the entire building and will spe­
------+ cialize in serving sea foods. They
will make doughnuts, both for
counter service and retail trade.
They have a restaurant at Seat­
tle. Mr. Murphy is a son-in-law
of Dr. Schmitt of Harbor.

Mrs. Sadie Orr Dunbar, state
president of Federated Womens
Clubs, of Oregon, Portland, and
her son, were Tuesday visitors in
Brookings and Harbor. She spoke
at a health association meeting,
Monday, at Gold Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jesser and
son of Portland have located in
Brookings. They are brother-in-
law and sister of Mrs. Charles
Grayshel. They have taken an
apartment above J. J. Gallflgher's
plumbing shop.
Melvin Fitzhugh Sr., pioneer
Curry County resident, is seri­
ously ill in the Crescent City hos­
pital. Members of the family have
been summoned to his bedside.
