School Notes
By L a m e Robinson
Last Friday night our dance
was given here a t the school. It
seems th at we had a good crowd
and it was enjoyed by all pres-
ent. Cokes and sandwiches, and
popcorn were served as refrseh-
ments. The entertainm ent was
given by the boys and girls who
had gone on the trips. E ureka
and Ashland. Four girls sang:
Hubba, Hubba. Hubba,” which
was followed by other girls doing
or rather, showing what they will
be doing ten years from now.
This was followed by basketball
boys doing a "Can Can" dance.
The juniors and seniors are
practicing for their play for next
Friday night at Geld Beach. They
have been rehearsing diligently.
Tuesday, during the boys gym
period, the beys had some games
of basketball. The freshmen and
sophomores played, and it seems
that the "ignorant” frosh beat
the honorable" sophs. The jun-
lors and seniors had a game, and
the seniors won.
Dee Sanders is now in the hos
pital as result of an auto acci
dent last S atu rd ay night. Dee w ill
tv home from the hospital by
Saturday, and we hope to st-e
her m school. Monday.
There was a surprise party for
the Reekman twins, but it seemed
hat Bobby was up the river, so
didn’t get in on it.
This is the week for our six-
weeks tests, and it seems th a t all
of the boys and girls art' busv
studying.
After getting r e a d y for the
dance and all la st w e e k sk ip p in g
classes, it seems funny now to get
down to work. Monday morning
was spent cleaning the gym.
