L ast Friday evening, Chetco
G range held its regular meeting,
when Mr. and Mrs. Lucien H a r­
vey of Brookings and Mr. and
Mrs. George Hiland of H arbor
w ere initiated into the first and
second degrees of the order.
The c h a rter was draped in
m emory of Mrs. Guy Rice, of
H arbor who recently passed away.
Refreshm ents of fruit jello sal­
ad, topped with whipped cream,
cookies, crackers and coffee were
served. People said the food was
b e tte r because of the new stove.
Tables were decorated with acacia
and Chinese lilies.
The ladies entertainm ent com­
m ittee program was postponed
until the next m eeting when the
men and women will compete for
entertainm ent honors. A fter the
supper, group singing was en­
joyed. Mrs. Heighberg^r, form er
H arbor resident, attended t h e
m eeting.
