FRIDAY MARCH 25 What began as a simple “girls weekend” at a cabin on the McKenzie River became a love aff air with a tiny half- mile nature walk at the Delta Campground. Time and again, Sandi T. O’Brien would return to this small trea- sure, armed with her camera, to photograph its seasonal beauty, until September 2020. Sandi T. O’Brien — In Memoriam, After the Holiday Farm Fire is the photog- rapher’s love note to the area. She returned in January of 2021 to photograph the haunting, charred images. “I was afraid of what I would fi nd when we went to Delta Campground,” she writes in her artist statement. “My fears were confi rmed. These are all of the photos that I could manage before sadly turning back to the car to go home.” O’Brien will return this spring, this time to photo- graph the renewal of Delta Campground. Sandi T. O’Brien — In Memoriam, After the Holiday Farm Fire is at The O’Brien Photo Gallery through April 15. The gallery is located at 2833 Willamette Street, Ste. B, and it is open weekdays 1 pm to 5 pm. Call ahead at 541-729-3572 to make sure the gallery is open. Fifty percent of sales will go to relief eff orts for the people of Ukraine. — Dan Buckwalter GENERAL ART EXHIBITS Environs: Plein Air Painters of Lane County Invitational & Weather Permitting: Work by Laura Ahola-Young (thru March 25), Maude Kerns Art Ctr., 1910 E. 15th Ave. Zone 4 All, non-juried show (thru March 25), New Zone Gallery, 110 E. 11th Ave. Michael Z.
