    CALENDAR
At some point in time, the children show My
Little Pony became a thing for adults, too.
Whether or not it’s some form of Peter Pan
complex, the cartoon is the birthday theme
of burlesquer Glitterati LaReaux, who will ap-
parently add a gothic twist to it. Scrumptious
Scoundrels Burlesque Presents: Glitterati
LaReaux’s Gothic My Little Pony Birthday
Burlesque will push some birthday boundar-
ies. The party will include a costume contest,
birthday spankings and cupcakes (with a
gluten-free option as well). It might be an
exciting night that won’t have you wanting to
Rainbow Dash the hell out of the bar. However,
let this be fair warning to those everyday
drinkers who are planning to have a regular
night at Old Nick’s. If My Little Pony-themed
burlesque is your kryptonite, you’d better
plan accordingly.
Glitterati LaReaux’s Gothic My Little Pony
Birthday Burlesque is 9 pm Saturday, Nov. 24
at Old Nick’s Pub, located at 211 Washington
Street. $5, 21-plus. — Henry Houston
