Springfilm is back with its 2016-2017
series, Made in Oregon. One Flew Over the
Cuckoo’s Nest will be the first screening
in the series and Megan Lallier-Barron
of the Oregon State Hospital Museum of
Mental Health will host a discussion after
the movie. The museum will also display
a traveling exhibit a few minutes before
the screening begins. The film picked up
five Academy Awards in 1976. Filming
took place “in the Oregon State Hospital in
Salem and is based on Ken Kesey’s 1962
bestselling novel,” Springfilm says.
