killers on Sunday, March 30, for a night
of blues and rock. Castro, a guitarist,
vocalist and songwriter, started playing
guitar at age 10 and plunged into his
music career in the 1960s. The Pain-
killers teamed up with Castro in 2012,
and the group is now releasing its new
album, The Devil You Know. Swing by
Cozmic to see the band that the Chicago
Blues Guide says has the “type of cama-
raderie that is a pleasure to watch.”
