As far as fundraisers go, this one’s pretty clever. If you’re
planning on hitting up the bars on Friday night, now
there’s extra incentive to drink by joining in on Curious
K9’s Holiday “Pup” Crawl, an interactive benefi t for
Luv-A-Bull and Luv-A-Little Dog Rescue. The local rescue
group is committed to saving pit bulls and small dogs
from high-kill shelters, so check out the “Pup Crawl Eu-
gene” Facebook page to print out a voucher, then take it
along and make sure to mention it when you buy drinks
at the Starlight Lounge, The Davis, Jameson’s and Luck-
ey’s, where $1 of each purchase will go toward helping
homeless dogs. And remember, it’s not just drinking: It’s
a good deed!
The Holiday “Pup” Crawl runs 7:30-9:30pm Friday, Dec.
6, at the Starlight Lounge, 830 Olive St.; The Davis, 94 W.
Broadway; Jameson’s, 115 W. Broadway; and Luckey’s,
933 Olive St. Don. — Amy Schneider
