gender and politics as well as American politi-
cal institutions. She is the author of “Righting
Feminism: Conservative Women and American
Politics.”
This event is part of the Wayne Morse Center’s “Governing
a Polarized Republic: Is This Any Way to Run a Democracy?”
speaker series and is cosponsored by the University of Oregon
