My new name is Mattie. Before I was
rescued I had a very hard life. I was neglected
for a long time. Since I’ve been at Greenhill
I’ve gained 10 lbs. and even had my teeth
cleaned! Here at the shelter they call me a
chow-hound, but who can blame me? I was
just so hungry for so long. Now I dream of a
home with someone who will love me, feed
me and keep me warm. It doesn’t sound like much to ask for, but in
my experience, such things are a luxury.
Mattie is 10-years-old and her adoption fee is only $75. For a senior
citizen (65 and better) such as herself, her fee is discounted to just
$25, thanks to our Pets for the Elderly program.
Is someone in your life yearning for a new furry friend? Adoption
Gift Certifi cates are now available at Greenhill. Or, give the gift of
caring by purchasing a Holiday Gift Card to show a loved one you’ve
donated in their honor. All proceeds go toward caring for the pets in
our shelters. Learn more at www.green-hill.org.
