Located in the Coburg Station shopping center
on Coburg Road, Chi Spa offers Chinese massage
and detox therapies.
Inside Chi Spa, a licensed massage therapist is
placing a customer’s feet into a wide soaking pail
of hot water. Infused with rose petals, pre-mixed
ocean minerals and Chinese herbs, the herbal liquid
soothes the woman and cleanses and softens her
feet in preparation for the Chinese foot refl exology
therapy, or foot massage.
A second therapist has just fi nished on another
customer, who appears relaxed and ready to
continue her day with renewed vigor. Before she
arrived, the customer says her “whole back was tense.” After the Chi Spa practitioner
massaged her lower legs, toes and soles of the feet, the customer says she felt the tightness
disappear.
