WILLAMETTE VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL
May 5, 2012 will celebrate the 45th Willamette
Valley Music Festival (WVMF) with 23 bands on
three stages. Evolved from the Willamette Valley
Folk Festival, this long-standing cultural tradition
reflects a wide variety of student musical interests.
This year the Cultural Forum is proud to
host performers, including headliner Mayer
Hawthorne and the County, from across the
nation on the Memorial Quad Main Stage. Student
performers will take front and center on the
Emerald Student Stage in EMU Amphitheater and
local folk musicians will perform on the KLCC
Stage in the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.
Food, beverages, and crafts will be available at
ASUO Street Faire. This free, outdoor festival
is generously made possible by the Associated
Students of the University of Oregon. Come
enjoy a few bands or stay from noon to midnight
to enjoy a great variety of fabulous performers!
