ering them to lead fuller, self-determined lives.
We’re seeking an Assistant Director and Life En-
richment Specialists (Caregivers) for our Lane
Co. group homes for people with developmental
disabilities.
The Assistant Director oversees all operations of
the region’s eight group homes, including super-
vising managers and staff; providing budget and
financial oversight to programs; ensuring compli-
ance with OARs, agency policies, and our philoso-
phy of care; ensuring ISPs, financial safeguards,
and other protective measures for the people in
our services are followed; participating in licens-
ing reviews and quality assurance processes; and
similar or related tasks. The successful candidate
will have five or more years’ experience in a DD
service setting, including staff and program over-
sight, and a working knowledge of philosophies
and approaches used to provide support options
to people with developmental disabilities.
We’re seeking Life Enrichment Specialists for
our neighborhood group homes for people with
developmental disabilities. Life Enrichment Spe-
cialists provide direct care and support to the peo-
ple we serve to help them achieve desired lifestyles
and increased levels of independence, productiv-
ity, and social/physical integration. Tasks include
assisting with personal care including personal
hygiene, bathing, food preparation, laundry and
house keeping; scheduling activities and accompa-
nying persons served; ensuring ISP goals are met
and the information is documented; completing
paperwork for program documentation; and simi-
lar and related tasks. The successful candidate will
have a high school diploma or GED; be able to lift,
push, and pull 75 pounds consistently throughout
the shift; have the ability to relate effectively with
the people we serve; be able to respond to crisis
situations; and be able to meet agency driving re-
quirements.
