Mozart’s onstage at the Oregon Mozart Players’ annual all-Amadeus concert Saturday,
Oct. 3. The main course is their namesake’s stirring last symphony, one of the greatest
works of music ever written: Symphony 41 (the Jupiter Symphony), whose dazzlingly
intricate and impassioned fi nale never grows old. The engaging program also boasts an
early serenade and one of Mozart’s chirruping fl ute concerti along with its probably original
slow movement, now often played separately as Andante in C. Reasonably priced tix
